AIR RELEASE AGENTS

• Zircon sells a variety of air release (de-bubblers) for various industry applications.  The chart below illustrates these applications.

VISCOSITY REDUCERS

• Astrocure^® WA-1 is an additive that will reduce viscosity in highly filled calcium carbonate resin systems.
• Astrocure^®  WA-2 is an additive designed to reduce viscosity in high filled hydrated aluminum oxide resin systems.
• Astrocure^®  WA-3 is designed for reducing viscosity in highly filled systems based on calcium carbonate,  alumina and talc.  It also acts as an air release agent.
• Astrocure^®  GW-10 is an additive that is designed to wet out fiberglass and to release air at fiberglass surfaces.

STYRENE SUPPRESSANT ADDITIVES

• Astrocure^®  LVA 100 is a white paste that will reduce styrene vapors up to 75%.

LEVELING AGENTS

• Astrocure^®  LVA 100 is an additive for coatings designed to give a smooth, hard, glassy surface to thin coatings.

PIGMENT DISPERSING AGENT

• Astrocure^®  PG-20
• This product is designed to disperse pigments in polyester gel coats.
